For this project, we worked on installing new windows and doors in a secluded home and it was a very rewarding job. Check out the incredible results.

The Project
Evolution Storm 2 windows in large family house in secluded, exclusive cul-de-sac
Mr Jones had been looking for low-maintenance, high-performance windows and doors for his large detached house in Long Ashton. They would replace the original timber products which badly needed repairs and maintenance. Mr Jones visited Panoramic’s Showroom and selected our Evolution timber alternative products

The Chosen Products
Following the Showroom visit, Mr Jones worked with the Panoramic team to design the windows and doors using the Storm 2 product. As well as windows and a front door, Mr Jones wanted three sets of French doors with a Georgian pattern for the rear of the property which benefits from spectacular views towards the Mendip Hills.
The Results
Panoramic fitted the windows and doors over a period of 10 days. The products look exceptional and Mr Jones is delighted with the finished effect and the transformation that he has seen in the property. The Evolution Storm 2 product is very similar to timber in both it’s design and it’s proportions. Combined with a white wood-foil finish, the overall effect is stunning and Mr Jones commented that neighbours have congratulated him on his new wood windows!

Evolution Flush Windows And Doors In Large Family House
Mr & Mrs Taber had old wooden double glazed windows in their 1970’s family house in North Somerset. They had been looking at replacing all the windows and doors for some time but were looking for an alternative to timber that was low maintenance but retained the character of the house. They were keen to have a flush window with the look of wood and at the same time wanted a new colour that set of the stone finish of the property.

Getting Planning Permission In Conservation Areas

uPVC windows are becoming a more popular choice for people who own period properties. Preserving the original appearance of a window is important – because heritage homes must blend in with their local surroundings.
Timber Alternative Windows in a Conservation Area
When replacing windows in a conservation area windows must conform to certain criteria, namely the material used in the construction of the original and the ‘style’ of the window must be replicated as closely as possible in the replacement product.
